Tag - I'm It!
OK, I got tagged by the coolest AP I met in Moscow. She adopted Mia and was my inspiration for staying the 10 days alone and having my mom help me with pick up. Tamara has adopted twice from Russia and seriously folks, go check out her blog and see beautiful Mia. She is even more adorable in person. http://tamaras-corner.blogspot.com/

The rules are to divulge six random things about myself and then tag 6 others!! So here goes.
1: I grew up with a burnt orange front door because my parents were such BIG Longhorn fans and now the only football I will watch is when my son is on the field. I never know who is in the super bowl. Fortunately, I married a man who cares even less about football.
2: For our fifth anniversary Ian and I went to the Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Canada. It is one of the best spas in the world and Ian and I won't go back because our memory of it is so amazing we don't want to go and have it fall short of the magic we remember.
3. My parents bought me an Apple IIe and the very first Macintosh... does anyone out there even know what those are?? Did that age me or what!
4. I love General Hospital and even went to the first 4 or 5 Super Soap Weekends. It is a drug like Cocaine and I just can't kick the habit... BTW, if you are a GH fan, I still think Jonathan Jackson is the real Lucky Spenser.. and right now we have a faux Lucky as my friend Mer called him.
5. I saw my house in my dreams before I saw my house in person. Our house was priced $100K over my husband's limit. When I walked in, I looked into the back yard and saw the tree house and knew we would live here. I then walked into the guest bath and found the same wallpaper I had just bought to put into whatever home we moved into... I then went to Corbin's room and found the same border I just bought for our next playroom!! I had picked up 3 different patterns and the only one not here was the dining room paper and I never installed it. I told my husband that we may have to move into an apartment, but by the end of the summer they would accept our offer. It didn't take that long. My husband and my realtor thought I was NUTS. But I just KNEW this was where God wanted us.
6. Ian hates change and I am all about change. I am his change agent. It is shocking that he works for Accenture and loves to get new assignments and new clients with new problems, because if it were up to him we would live in the first house we ever bought, we would still be planning to one day have a child and we would never go on vacation. I drag him through life. He has now learned to LISTEN to me and he can tell when I am starting to drop hints and warm him up for the next big change.
So here are the rules if I tag you...
1. Link to the person that tagged you.
2.Post the rules on the blog.
3. Write six random facts about yourself.
4.Tag six people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know they have been tagged.
6. Let the taggers know when your entry is up.
And I am tagging:
Ondrea Harrison whom I refer to often. O also has 3 boys and 1 girl and she is such a funny writer.
Nicole Settle whom may kill me because she just got home from Russia with Ava and I don't know how she will carve out time for this.. everyone be patient.
Karen Ledbetter whom is also in the 3 boys 1 girl club. Karen has a daughter in Kemerovo.
Jana Terry who traveled to Russia with me and adopted Alex, a beautiful little boy!
Carolyn Burbee a new PAP who recently contacted me about adopting a girl. If you like to follow journeys in action hers is just starting out!
Renae and Joe who just made a big announcement on their blog...
Tag to the 6 of you... you are it...

Seriously?! I can't believe I've finally been tagged. I have read so many of these in the past year that I can't believe it's finally me... it's like I've been elected to the homecoming court or something. God bless you, my friend! :)
Also, I think our husbands were separated at birth. Seriously, does Accenture only hire ONE profile? I love that line about dragging him through life because that's what I do with Brian. Now I know you MUST move here! Also, tell Ian I need him to read my blog some more so I know at least one of our husbands is reading... mine certainly ISN'T! :)
I am not leaving Tampa no matter how many times you hint! Love you honey...
Sorry that was directed at my wife. I should have been more clear..
I'm so glad we were able to 'catch up' to get you hooked into my blog. I'm so glad we're both home with our little Misses. What a blessing! Paka and hugs, Tamara
