An Explanation of Absense

Family and Friends,
I have a very sick family... fevers, vomiting, aches...
Ian is out of town so I am on my own dealing with this challenge on very very little sleep.

I often unplug our home phone because the ringing sets all the screaming and whining off, not that I could possibly answer it anyways.

I went and set my cell phone in a small puddle next to the sink yesterday.
I lost all of your phone #s and I won't have a cell until they send me a new one next week. sorry.
Please email me your # so I will have it to put in my new phone. Honestly, I don't have them anywhere else. You can send it to moncherimommy@yahoo.com if you don't have my Verizon email address.

BTW it isn't looking good for Christmas cards. Aidan got sick a week ago and so far he and Ariana each have 2 presents. No one else has a thing. As soon as I can emerge from this fog I have to focus on them and their Christmas.

Thanks for understanding why we have disappeared.

Michelle

***Update:
God Provided me a shower. Apparently, he felt it was time.
Let me elaborate:

Taking time to do ANYTHING other than keep an eye on the A team is dangerous business. Ariana is a budding artist, my first ever by the way, and my home happens to be her canvas. Pens, pencils, crayons, chalk all belong under lock and key. If it can leave any form of mark (like soap- who knew??) Ariana will put it too good use.

Now, 2 things actually occurred while I was typing. First, my darling daughter had a very natural urge to relieve herself. No problem, except that I had taken her soaking wet diaper off and gone to get a new one when the phone rang. It happened to be my husband checking on me. He provided just enough distraction that I forgot the state of her attire. Or lack there of.

The second was that my son found a box of glitter glue pens. He managed to not only untape and open the new box. He figured out how to open the lids and how to use them. Not bad for a kid who had never seen anything like them before. Unfortunately, his canvas was his sister's head.

So, as I turned from typing my name above, Ariana came to me with pungent pajamas and a Medusa mess.

Hence, it was shower time.
Really people, if I don't answer the phone sometimes, forgive me.

Oh crud. Who left the salt within her reach???? Gotta go!

Girl This is one of those times that we are tested .The test pushes are nerves and our multi tasking skills to the max! I am glad that you have got a shower and hopefully some rest! If I was your neighbor I would come over ,lock you in a bathroom with candles ,a tub with lots of bubbles and a glass of wine! That sounds like a calgon commercial!
