Corbin took his test scores and transcript and met with the principal at St. Thomas Aquinas yesterday.... you guessed it.. he was accepted!! He is a mixture of "over the moon" and "scared out of his pants". The school is one of the top 50 Catholic Schools in the nation, and they have a long history of winning the state championships in the highest category in pretty much every sport. Add that too the impressive academics (80% qualified for a scholarship) and Corbin is in athletic paradise and academic doom. OK, the cute blond who walked in to the office with her little plaid skirt on didn't hurt either. (Remind me that Ariana is wearing extra baggy pants and an over sized sweatshirt in high school.) We did sign him up to take a summer school class so he can acclimate. That is one thing checked off my to do list. Now, if I can just get this house finished so we can put it on the market. I would really love some prayer warriors to send me a buyer in the first month. That would really help our financial forecast out tremendously.
It is spring break here, so hopefully, I will have more time to blogg and update everyone on all the kids.
Hugs!
Michelle

Okay I am sending prayers your way for several buyers that will love your home so much that they get into a bidding war and you get over the asking price! I know that is really out there but you know the power of prayer!
Nic
Okay, my first thought was, "Nicole, that is just a little over the top." Then I thought of Katie and was reminded of how God doesn't show up big when we don't ask Him for big. Of course He can do this and He wants to blow your socks off, so I'll pray with Nicole for BIG stuff. Congrats to Corbin. Now if you are off all week, you have no excuse for ignoring me... except of course, all the stuff you're trying to do for your move, but hey, that's no big deal, right? It is about me, after all. hehehe Seriously, though, just wish I was there to help you pack!
Way to go Corbin!
Best wishes with all the moving details!
