Well, I started gathering St. Pete paperwork. I don't know if I will need it. I hope I don't, but I am gathering it. Most of it could have been to CSS in a day, but for a couple of pieces I need help from my social worker. So a week and a half later I am getting one piece. And, I don't know if I will ever get the other. Literally. So, I am calling the state myself for it.
I decided that gathering the paperwork would be a grand distraction from not getting a referral. I am also upping our age from 18 months to 24 months since. Because it has taken so long, we can have an older child and still have her the grade below Aidan. I had the addendum say, 'born on or after Sept. 1, 2006' so actually, it doesn't have an age. I hope CIS takes it.
We had to have another financial report. We needed a Power of Attorney. We needed a new letter of intent, a new agreement to do post placements. Then we also needed a letter from the state saying our agency was in good standing and licensed. I also went ahead and got a letter stating that we won't force church on the kids.
I want a call tomorrow that they registered us, and we received the most perfect referral. She was born full term. 7lbs, 20 inches. Her mother never drank alcohol. She is 9 months old and lives in an orphanage where she is taken care of by a lady who has bonded with her and she has attached right back. She has a healthy normal spirit, brain and body. I want them to have travel dates for April 28th. Then I want to go to court on May 26th. We can go back to get her with the boys at the beginning of summer break and have the entire summer together! This is my prayer.
The diet is a little rocky. I ate Chinese today- all fried. The good note is that I ordered salad for the rest of the month.
Collin got a waterproof cast. That changed our lives! Aidan is officially a Gymboree addict. He asks to go every day. Corbin is finally getting excited about Wolf Creek. All the 7th graders are wearing their hiking boots every day for training in PE.
