That is my theme song for today. I can only imagine what it will be like to travel to Russia and to see my baby girl for the first time. I can only imagine how shy she will be the first time we try to interact with her and how over whelmed she will be to leave the only home she can remember to travel out into the big crazy world. I can only imagine how unusual it will be to have so much attention given to her. I can only imagine what it will feel like to light some one's eyes up every morning when they come to get you out of bed. I can only imagine what it will be like to love a daughter and have her know a mother's love for the first time in her life. I can only imagine closing my eyes one day and seeing her in my mind. I can only imagine how much I will cherish my very first real hug. I can only imagine how happy I will be to hear her call "Mommy" for the first time because she needs me.
I can only imagine, today.
But, one day I will know.
Dear Lord, thank you for my imagination and for the confidence that one day we will be together. Give my little girl a hug today. Let her know joy today. Let her know deep in her heart that mommy and daddy are on their way. Care for her body, heart, mind and spirit. Be with her now and always.
Today is the day Ondrea and Brian meet Mary Margaret. I can only imagine the joy that has filled Ondrea's heart. I look forward to hearing her good news and the good news of my friends traveling in less than 2 weeks. Until then, I can only imagine.
